ANGELA’S JOURNEY – Jeremiah 29:11
On March 4th, 2021, we all found out the horrible news that no one ever wants to hear…
Angela Reeves had been diagnosed with colon & liver cancer. She went in on Tuesday, March 9th to have some test and during those tests she found out that the tumor was so large that it was obstructing her colon. They immediately admitted her to the hospital and scheduled her for surgery the very next day. The surgery was more complicated than they thought. The tumor was sticking to her fallopian tubes and ovary, so they removed them and the sigmoid colon. She had to have a CT Scan a couple of weeks before and the contrast she had to drink for that was still in her upper colon due to the obstruction. They decided during surgery to do an ostomy to keep her from having sepsis. She will have to have chemotherapy and after that they will remove the ostomy and resection her colon.
On Friday March 12th , (which was her birthday) they took her back to surgery to do a biopsy of her liver. We are still awaiting the results of this.
Angela is truly the strongest person you will ever meet and is always the first to help
anyone. She is truly the glue that holds her family together and her love for God and
everyone around her is like no other. She is truly one of the most caring, loving and the most giving person you will ever meet.
She has a long road ahead of her and every and any prayer you can send to her and the entire family is appreciated more than you will ever know. The love and support that they have already received from family & friends is overwhelming and they are so appreciative of each and every one of you.
If anyone has any questions regarding the t-shirts, please do not hesitate to contact SSD or myself and we will get back with you ASAP.
Thank you all for your love, support and mostly, your prayers.
